Counseling at Sacred Wandering, at the moment, consists of one Licensed Professional Counselor who walks a sacred journey of discovery and health with each client who walks through our doors. We also offer Life Coaching through our Pastoral Center.
Sacred Wandering is a way of being. It was born from the understanding that we each travel a sacred path, gathering into ourselves, with others, and the Divine as we travel on our life journey.
As we travel our varied paths, we collect stuff that we need help processing. We’re here to help!
Janet C. Soldon, MA, RLSW, RM/T
Co-Founder
Jan is a Reiki Master and Teacher of the Usui Shiki Rhoyo method and an Intuitive Energy Practitioner and Life Coach. She has been practicing in the Reiki field for 25 years and maintains a small private practice.
Before working as an Energy Practitioner, Jan worked tirelessly as a Social Worker, Supervisor, and trainer in a county-run Child Welfare and Protective Services, as well as other agencies, which provided her with a strong foundation for energy healing and helped her establish and engage in good self-care. She has a unique perspective that helps her clients work towards their health and happiness goals.
Jan is culturally competent and can help people from all walks of life. In 2004, Jan and her husband moved to Tucson, Arizona, where she worked in private practice as a Reiki Practitioner and Teacher. During that time, Jan was a crucial member in the development and implementation of, as well as teaching in, the “Wellness Education” component of the Therapeutic Massage Program at a local community college.
Rev. Kenneth J Nelan, MS, LPC, NCC
Kenn is a nationally certified (NBCC) licensed professional counselor and ordained priest serving in the under the Anglican Free Communion International.
Kenn received a bachelor’s Degree in “Latin American, Caribbean, and U.S. Latino Studies,” a minor in “Community Engagement and Education,” and a certificate in “Latin American Studies” from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee. He completed a Master of Science in Educational Psychology (APA accredited) under the Community Counseling program at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and is working towards a Doctor of Philosophy in Counselor Education and Supervision.
Before UWM, He studied at Sacred Heart School of Theology with an emphasis on Pastoral Counseling and Theology and at Cardinal Stritch University with an emphasis on Religious Studies and Pastoral Psychology.
Kenn holds certificates in hypnosis, Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and TeleMental Health Therapy. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Wisconsin Counseling Association, the American Association of Christian Counselors, and the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology.
He is board-certified as a professional counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors.
